Respite Care

At Salter Point Aged Care, we understand that choosing a new home is a significant and often emotional decision. That’s why we may offer respite stay with a view to permanency for up to two weeks, for those considering making Salter Point their permanent home.

This gentle transition gives you and your family the opportunity to experience our warm and welcoming community, get to know our dedicated team, and for us to feel confident that we can truly meet your individual needs. During this time, you will receive the same level of care, respect and attention that we provide to all of our permanent residents, because from the moment you arrive, you are part of our community.

Every stay is supported by a personalised care plan, thoughtfully developed in consultation with you or your representative and overseen by our clinical team. By taking the time to understand your health needs, daily routines and personal preferences, we can ensure a smooth and reassuring transition.
