Types of Care

Salter Point Aged Care proudly boasts 24-hour nursing support and care our Residents. Led by a friendly and highly experienced Facility Manager, we have a team of dedicated and experienced care staff and clinicians who enjoy working with the elderly.

Our team is passionate about understanding each individual’s personal needs, goals, and preferences. In our new home, each Resident will receive a personalised approach. An individual care plan that considers personal goals will be co-designed by the Resident, or their representative in consultation with our clinical team and other relevant specialists where appropriate.

24 hours/day, 7 days/week

A qualified nursing team is on-site at all times to attend to our Residents’ clinical and emergency needs

Respite Care

Residential Respite Care – view to permanency: takes place for 14 or 28 days and this admission leads to Permanent care.

Short Term Respite Care – Subject to Availability

Residential Permanent Care is designed for our Residents and we pride ourselves on the quality of our care and services to meet their care needs, both now and in the future.

Bariatric Care

Residential Bariatric Care is designed for our Residents with the modernised ceiling hoist placed on all the rooms on the ground floor.

Dementia Care

Residential Dementia Care is designed to support and care for people living with dementia. We are not a Secured Aged Care Facility

Palliative Care

Residential Palliative Care is designed to help and support the individual to live as fully and as comfortable as possible with a life-limiting illness.
